Refund policy

The client (the Customer), having performed a purchase in this store, has the right to withdraw from the contract without any penalty and without having to specificate the reason, within 14 (fourteen) calendar days. The 14 days start from the day of the contract conclusion or the date of delivery of the product.

This right is reserved solely to natural persons (customers), and cannot be exercised by legal persons and natural persons acting for purposes related to their professional activity.

The Seller and the Customer agree upon the following:

The Customer is obliged to return the product intact. The product must not have been    damaged, altered or used. The cases, boxes and any additional accessories are to be considered part of the product, as well as all the documentation attached (warranties, etc.)

The Customer is obliged to return the product with a carrier of their choice and at their exclusive expense, to Astrologo Ottica Srl - Via della Fontanella di Borghese, 25/26, 00186, Rome (Italy). Once the withdrawal request has been communicated, the Customer is required to return the product that has been purchased and is no longer wanted, within 14 days.

Before providing the reimbursement to the Customer, the Seller, having received the product, will check if it is intact, complete and contains all its parts, with original packaging completely intact and undamaged. The Customer will receive the refund of  the amount paid, excluding the shipment costs for both ways carriage, as quickly as possible and, in any event, within 30 days from the date on which the Customer has communicated the intention to withdraw from the contract to the Seller.

The Seller will reimburse to the Customer the amount paid in the following ways: bank transfer (for the products purchased with bank transfer), PayPal payment or credit card (for the products purchased with credit card), or other method agreed with and confirmed by the Customer.

The amount reimbursed will be equivalent to the amount paid for the purchased product, excluding shipping costs.

The currency of the reimbursement will be the same as the currency of the purchase, i.e., Euro.

In case of partial withdrawal, if the Customer has decided to return a part of several items   purchased, the shipment costs will not be reimbursed either. 

Should the Customer decide to cancel a recently made order paid by credit card, this must be immediately communicated to Astrologo Ottica Srl via e-mail ( sales@otticastrologo.com ) or fax ( +390668193071 ). In this case the Seller will cancel the transaction.


THE WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE

The Customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without penalty and without having to communicate the reason, within 14 calendar days from the day the Customer receives the product and signs the delivery slip provided by the carrier.

To exercise the right of withdrawal the Customer is required to send, within 14 calendar days, a written communication via e-mail (sales@otticastrologo.com) or fax (+390668193071). The communication sent by e-mail may be considered valid only if confirmed by Astrologo Ottica Srl within the next 48 hours. In case if such communication has not been confirmed, the Customer is required to send, within the 14 days deadline, a registered mail with a return receipt to the following address:

The communication must contain the following information:

a) Customer’s name

b) Customer’s Address

c) Reference number of the shipment document

d) The Customer’s written withdrawal request

e) The description of the product and the corresponding amount paid

On receipt of the communication, Astrologo Ottica Srl will authorize the return of the product providing a return number that the Customer is required to indicate on the product shipping package.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, The Customer is obliged to return the purchased product complete, in perfect condition and in the original and undamaged packaging. The Customer, having expressed the intention to withdraw from the contract, is required to return the product that has been purchased and is no longer wanted, within 14 days

By law, the shipping costs for return of the product shall be borne by the Customer. The Customer is considered entirely responsible for the product and its carriage until the receipt of the product by Astrologo Ottica Srl  is confirmed. The Seller cannot be held responsible in any way for the damage, theft or loss during  uninsured return shipment.

The returned product, with the return number indicated on the shipping package, shall be delivered to the Seller within 14 days after the return number has been provided to the Customer, otherwise the returned product  will not be accepted.

Once the product has been delivered, it will be examined for any damage.  Should the product be returned in the inappropriate condition, the right of withdrawal will be ceased, and Astrologo Ottica Srl will send the purchased product back to the Customer charging the shipping costs equivalent to a new shipment.

Should the product be damaged during the carriage, Astrologo Ottica Srl will promptly inform the Customer to enable him or her to draw up a timely complaint against the carrier that has been chosen by the Customer, and to obtain the reimbursement of the value of the product (if insured) from the carrier. In this case product will be prepared for the return to the Customer, and the withdrawal request will be canceled, the product being no longer property of Astrologo Ottica Srl.

If the right of withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with the Legislative Decree no. 21 of 21 February 2014, as referred to above, Astrologo Ottica Srl will refund to the Customer the amount paid for the product that has been returned. The refund will be made as quickly as possible and in any event no later than 30 days from the date of the receipt of the returned product.

The reimbursement will be made by cancellation of the transfer (for the payment made with credit card or PayPal) or by bank transfer (for payments made with bank transfer paid in advance). In case of reimbursement by bank transfer, the Customer is kindly asked to indicate the bank details directly in the withdrawal communication sent via e-mail, fax or by a registered mail with a return receipt, to speed up the refund process.

We kindly remind our customers that from 1 January 2008, in compliance with the European interbank legislation, it is obligatory to use the IBAN code for domestic transfers as well. Therefore, to obtain the reimbursement, please, make sure to communicate the IBAN code.
